OUR MISSION
Finlay’s Voice is a national advocacy movement committed to radically transforming Canada’s Emergency Room system. Founded in memory of Finlay, whose life was lost to systemic ER failures, we channel grief into action—demanding accountability, safer care, and human-centered reform. Through awareness, education, and bold advocacy, we ensure no family endures what we have. Finlay’s legacy is our call to action: we’re not just raising our voices—we’re driving the change our ERs desperately need.
OUR GOALS
Awareness: We share Finlay’s story as a powerful lens on the systemic failures within our ERs. Through lived experiences and broader testimony, we reveal the cracks in a system that’s meant to care—and call out the consequences when it doesn’t.
Education: Change begins with knowledge. We engage patients, families, healthcare professionals, and policy makers to understand the issues and the roles they can play. Because informed people make empowered communities.
Action: Words alone won’t heal—action will. Finlay’s Voice calls for bold, systemic reform. We push for accountability, better protocols, safer staffing levels, and human-centered care that never lets another life slip through the cracks.
Finlay was more than a statistic—he was kindness, laughter, and love.
Through Finlay’s Voice, his legacy becomes a movement.
We're not just raising our voices. We’re demanding to be heard—and driving the change our ERs desperately need.
